Once a week, students at St. Luke’s School in New York City roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty, learning everything from the basics of ceramics, such as coiling and rolling out clay to working on large scale pieces that incorporate glazing techniques and mold making. Once a trimester students work collaboratively on a piece that is given back to the school, leaving their mark and inspiration for generations to come. Currently offered to students in grades K-5.
